Collective Healing Rebellion

We're Building a Better Way to Practice

A group of young adults gathered in an embrace in an outdoor setting.

The Collective Healing Rebellion is a community of independent therapists building a better way to practice—one rooted in clinical excellence, genuine community, sustainable work, and the courage to challenge systems that get in the way.

Private practice gives us incredible freedom to build work that reflects who we are as clinicians and human beings. But independence can also get pretty damn lonely. We don’t think isolation should be the price of independence. And we don’t think burning ourselves out should be the price of doing extraordinary work.

So we’re building something different.

The Collective Healing Rebellion is officially in incubation.

There is a much bigger conversation behind each of these words. But if we had to boil down what matters here, it would look something like this:

Care. Humanity. Vulnerability. Sustainability. Generosity. Curiosity. Courageous Honesty. Dissent. Rebellion. Belonging.

And at the heart of it are three ideas:

Dissent — We question what we're told must be accepted.

Rebellion — We're willing to challenge it and build differently.

Belonging — We don't have to do it alone.

This isn't rebellion for the sake of being contrary. We believe there are things in this profession worth protecting, things worth changing, and things we probably haven't imagined yet.

We want to be curious enough to know the difference.

What We Stand For

We’re inviting independent therapists who want to do extraordinary clinical work without doing it alone. Clinicians who value their independence but don't believe independence requires isolation. People who are curious enough to keep learning, humble enough to expose what they don't know, courageous enough to ask for help, and generous enough to offer what they know when someone else needs it.

We’re looking for therapists who can give and receive meaningful feedback, celebrate someone else’s success without experiencing it as a threat to their own, and recognize that differences in experience and expertise don't determine anyone's value in the room. We want people willing to question systems that interfere with excellent care, therapist sustainability, human dignity, or equality—and equally willing to question themselves when necessary.

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who understand that a Collective is something we participate in, not something we simply purchase access to.

You don't have to arrive fully formed.

You do have to be willing to keep becoming.

Who We Are Inviting

THE COLLECTIVE IS IN INCUBATION

I do not know exactly what The Collective Healing Rebellion will become yet and that is intentional. Right now, we are building the culture before we build the machinery around it. We’re asking what independent therapists actually need from professional community rather than assuming we already know. We’re developing the values, relationships, resources, expectations, and structures slowly enough to notice what is real and what only sounded good on paper.

Some ideas will work. Some won't. People will surprise us. I will almost certainly change my mind about things.

That's good - I want to build something capable of learning.

That means membership applications aren't open yet and final benefits and pricing haven't been determined. We aren't unveiling a finished membership program and asking people to buy into something we've already decided they need.

Instead, incubation gives us room to listen, experiment, learn, keep what works, change what doesn't, and allow the people who may eventually belong here to help us understand what would make this community genuinely valuable.

Incubation isn't the period before the Collective begins, it's how the Rebellion begins.

The Collective Healing Rebellion is currently being incubated within Phoenix Rising Wellness while it develops its own identity, community, and structure. The Collective is not a new group therapy practice. Therapists who eventually belong here will remain independent clinicians with their own practices, professional identities, clinical approaches, and autonomy. As The Collective grows and proves what it can become, its structure may grow with it. For now, we're building the thing before deciding exactly what container it eventually needs.

Interested in the Rebellion?

If you've been reading this thinking, “Oh. These might be my people” we'd like to hear from you.

Joining The Collective Healing Rebellion Incubation Interest List is not a membership application. There is no commitment, and you aren't signing up to buy anything - You're raising your hand. You'll hear about what we're building, opportunities to participate during incubation, and what we're learning along the way. You'll also be among the first to know when we're ready to begin talking about Founding Membership.

We want to learn something about you, too because if we're serious about building a professional community around what therapists actually need, it would be pretty ridiculous not to ask them.

Where are you in your private practice journey?
Considering private practice
Building my practice
Established solo practice
Part of a group practice but exploring independence
Other
How would you like to be involved during incubation?
Keep me in the loop
Invite me to things
I want a seat at the table
Not sure yet

Joining this list does not make you a member of The Collective Healing Rebellion, and it doesn't obligate you to become one.

We're building. You're raising your hand. And we'll keep the conversation going from there.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING.

I’m not building an empire—I’m building a revolution.

And it starts by building the kind of professional community I spent years wishing I could find.
